Amidst majestic peaks, crisp mountain air and the gentle town-like charm of San Candido, you’ll find a place where every day of your holiday has a story of its own. Surrounded by the unique landscape of the Dolomites, there are countless opportunities all year round to discover something new, stay active or simply do absolutely nothing.

San Candido itself is also the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment. Its historic centre, with its charming pedestrianised streets, little shops and inviting cafés, is the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and for winding down after an unforgettable day of holiday adventures.

Plenty going on here in the Dolomites.

Our Farm Garden

During your stay in the Dolomites, the beautifully blooming garden in front of our home is one of the loveliest places to pause, explore and enjoy. Amid colourful flowers, fragrant herbs and fresh vegetables, all sorts of things grow here – many of which later find their way into our kitchen and farm shop.

Fine flour and other grain products are made from wheat, spelt and rye. We also make homemade jam and fragrant syrups, which are lovingly prepared here on our farm.

You’re also welcome to discover and try our fresh herbs.

Stars at the farm – our animals

In our modern cowshed, just outside the village and surrounded by lush green meadows, we keep dairy cows, calves, pigs, cats and our dog Kira. Our little stars are already looking forward to welcoming you for a visit.

We’re always happy to share a little of our life on the farm with you. A visit to the cowshed is simply part of the experience. Children in particular love helping to feed and milk the animals.

Relax and play

At Schopferhof, everyone can find their own favourite spot. While the little ones discover new adventures on our playground, adults can relax in the garden and enjoy the fresh mountain air of the Dolomites.

Whether after a long day of hiking, a stroll through the village or simply in between – this is a place to take a breath, slow down and savour the moment. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, play a game in the afternoon or unwind with a cosy glass of wine in the evening.

The names of our apartments are no coincidence. Each apartment is named after a flower from our garden – planted by us and lovingly cared for. Each one reflects the character of the flower it is named after: bright, welcoming, graceful and cosy.
